Rental Vehicle Requirements
- To get the Hertz Rental Vehicle and start your tour, you MUST have a valid Driver's License AND a Credit Card for the Deposit. There will be a deposit of $200 authorized on the credit card. No Cash Deposits.
- The Credit Card and the Driver's License MUST be for the SAME PERSON!
- Additional Drivers (with valid driver's license) may be added for a cost of $10.67 per driver, payable at the Hertz Rental Counter
- Drivers MUST be 21 years old or older. Drivers between 21-25 will be subject to a surcharge up to $35 per driver. This is payable at the Hertz Rental Counter.
- Rental Vehicle comes full of gas and must be returned full of gas.
- Rental Vehicle is due back at Rental Counter 24 hours after your departure, unless you have booked for more than one day
- Shuttle Service is provided from many Las Vegas Hotels to the Hertz Rental Counter to start your day. Please provide your hotel when making reservation. Office will confirm your tour and inform you of your pickup location. If pickup is not offered at your hotel, pickup will be at the closest possible location

- Shuttle Service is available from 7:00 am until 2:30 pm. If you return your vehicle after 2:30 pm, you will need to arrange for a return to your hotel.
- Hertz Rental Counter closes at 5 pm. There is an after hours drop off available, please inform when reserving your tour package if you will be using after hours drop off.
Other Requirements and Information
- Please bring your voucher or confirmation with you to your pickup location.
- You will be traveling 14 miles down an unpaved road. It is however graded and maintained, we are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle. Please maintain the speed limit.
- Our Sunset at the Canyon Packages accomadations are located at Grand Canyon West, and are the only accomadations within 10 miles of Grand Canyon West and The Skywalk.
- Check-in for cabins is no later than 5 pm on the date of the tour.
- Hualapai Lodge (Hualapai Experience) is located in Peach Springs, Arizona, on Route 66. This is a 1-1/2 hour drive to the Grand Canyon West Rim from Peach Springs (3-1/2 hour drive to the Grand Canyon West Rim from Las Vegas).
- Once arriving at Grand Canyon West, there are no private vehicles beyond designated parking areas. A hop-on, hop-off shuttle will be provided as part of your package.
- Grand Canyon West opens at 7 am and closes at 8 pm.
- Skywalk opens at 7:30 am.
- The Grand Canyon West Rim operates on Mountain Time. Please be sure to check your time difference prior to your arrival.
- This is a DRY Reservation. No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
- Our office hours are 7 am to 8 pm Monday to Sunday.
- Children under 3 are free. If children will be accompanying you, please let us know how many children.
- There is a Permitting and Parking fee of $20.00 per private vehicle, to be paid upon the arrival at the Grand Canyon West Entrance.
- Optional insurance available with our vehicle rental.
CANCELLED TOURS / DATE CHANGES
- 100% refund if cancelling Entrance Package Tours at least 48 hours prior to the tour. If cancelling thereafter, there is a $25 per person, per tour, cancellation fee.
- Date changes for Rafting Packages must be made 30 days prior to date of tour.
- Date changes for Overnight Packages tours must be made 14 days in advance due to Extreme Demand for these tours.
